It is the deluxe blend of the Haig family, whose whisky-making history in Scotland stretches back to the 17th century, and it is now produced by Diageo. Known as Dimple in the UK and Pinch in America, it has been a fixture in the United States since Prohibition ended.
Aged a minimum of fifteen years and bottled at 80 proof, Dimple Pinch is smooth and mellow: rich toffee, honeyed malt and dried fruit on the nose, then a soft palate of caramel, orange, nuts and gentle oak spice, finishing long and easy.
