After experimenting with various finishing casks, the perfect combination was found using Olorosso Sherry, Pedro Ximenez Sherry, and Cognac casks from select producers.
These techniques add new layers of flavor, enhancing the bourbon's natural character instead of overpowering it. The refined qualities of the previous contents of the casks blend seamlessly with the smooth and bold notes of Doc's Straight Bourbons. Every release is meticulously blended and further aged in ex-Cognac Foeders before bottling, resulting in a nutty dryness, subtle sweetness, and a long finish, all while highlighting the natural flavors of the whiskey.
