Drumshanbo Irish Whiskey Galanta Release
Drumshanbo Irish Whiskey Galanta Release comes from The Shed Distillery in Drumshanbo, County Leitrim, the distillery behind Drumshanbo Gunpowder Irish Gin. Galanta is a limited-release single pot still whiskey built on the distillery's unusual mash of malted barley, unmalted barley and Irish oats, matured in bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks and bottled at 43% ABV (86 proof).
The sherry cask influence leads with dried fruit, toffee and nutty spice over the creamy, oat-softened pot still base, with orchard fruit and a gentle oak finish. It is a rounder, richer expression than the standard Drumshanbo pot still and is best enjoyed neat.
As a small-batch release from one of Ireland's most inventive distilleries, this 700ml bottle is one for collectors and single pot still fans. Buy Drumshanbo Irish Whiskey Galanta Release online with fast shipping right to your door.
