Entremanos Blanco Tequila
Entremanos Blanco Tequila was created by Jalisco industry veteran Yan Monroy together with Jaime Villalobos Sauza, a fifth-generation maestro tequilero from the Sauza family, at Hacienda de Oro, NOM 1522, in Amatitán, the valley town regarded as the historic birthplace of tequila. The brand's premise is radical simplicity: three ingredients, Blue Weber agave from the Tequila Valley, deep well water and ambient wild yeast, with no additives. Agave is cooked in autoclaves, crushed on a roller mill and fermented spontaneously, without fibers, in open-air stainless steel tanks, so each batch shows subtle variation; it is then double distilled in stainless steel pot stills and bottled at 40% ABV (80 proof) in a 700ml bottle. The distinctive bottle, with its hand-wound rope at the shoulder, is produced and finished by a team of women, and the brand founded the non-profit Cultivando Lazos to support women working in tequila and Mexican spirits. Tequila Matchmaker tasters describe cooked agave, herbal notes, minerality and pepper in a clean, approachable style. Bourbon Banter likewise found a bright, agave-driven blanco built for easy sipping and cocktails. Pour it chilled, in a margarita, or in a ranch water.
