Fee Brothers is one of the oldest producers of cocktail bitters in the United States, a family business that traces its roots to 1864 in Rochester, New York, where it still operates from Portland Avenue, now in its fifth generation of family ownership. Before the cocktail revival of the 1990s and 2000s, Fee Brothers bitters were the only range most bartenders could get, and the company has kept adding flavors since, with its portfolio now past twenty. Cranberry Bitters joined the lineup in 2010, and they come in the company's signature hand-wrapped bottle. Cranberry bitters bring tart fruit into a drink without the sugar of juice or liqueur.
