Grüne Fee Classic Absinthe is a 750ml, 130-proof absinthe made in Austria in homage to the traditional Swiss and French absinthes of the 19th century. Its name is German for "green fairy," the famous nickname of the spirit that captivated artists and writers of the Belle Époque.
It is made from a blend of carefully selected botanicals including grande wormwood, anise and fennel, macerated and distilled to a bold, intense spirit with a vibrant green color and a complex herbal bouquet balancing bitterness with hints of sweetness and spice. Serve it with iced water and a sugar cube, or use it as a rinse in a Sazerac.
