Gust is a label from Megan and Hilary Cline, second-generation members of the Cline family, who wanted to farm the family's Petaluma Gap vineyards at the highest level. Fred Cline planted those sites in the late 1990s, before the area became known for grape growing, and winemaker Tom Gendall makes the wines. The name nods to the wind and morning fog that cool the Petaluma Gap. This rosé of Pinot Noir comes from Catapult Ranch and is bottled at 12.5% alcohol. It has a delicate blush color and a vibrant, fruit-forward character, with an elegant balance of acidity and freshness that makes it crisp and precise rather than heavy. It is a natural warm-weather bottle. Pair it with grilled shrimp, a goat cheese salad, charcuterie, or sushi, and it also works with spring vegetables and light pasta dishes. Serve it well chilled, around 45 degrees, for the freshest fruit. 750ml bottle. Vintages may vary; we ship the current release.
