Springbank, the family-owned distillery that malts, distills, matures and bottles everything on site by hand, makes only a small amount of Hazelburn each year, and sherry-matured releases at this age are among its rarest.
Bottled at a natural strength of 108.4 proof, non-chill-filtered and naturally colored, it pours rich amber and offers dried fruit, oak and sherry sweetness on the nose, then a layered palate of velvety caramel, dark chocolate, raisin and the warm embrace of Oloroso, with Hazelburn's delicate, triple-distilled fruitiness underneath and a long, lingering finish.
