Pouring golden, it opens with Kilchoman's signature peat smoke softened by sixteen years in oak, with brine, maritime air, citrus and gentle oak on the nose, then a rich, refined palate where the smoke wraps around sweet malt, dried fruit and the warmth of oak, finishing long with peat, sweetness and the elegance of long maturation. Released in small numbers, it is a landmark bottling for Kilchoman collectors and a serious gift for an Islay devotee.
