Kings County Core Whiskey Gift Set
The Kings County Core Whiskey Gift Set packs three 200ml bottles of the Brooklyn distillery's most approachable whiskeys into an understated presentation box, designed by the distillery as a tasting experience for gift buyers who do not know the recipient's taste. Kings County Distillery was founded in 2009 by Colin Spoelman and David Haskell, moved to the Brooklyn Navy Yard in 2012, is New York City's oldest operating whiskey distillery since Prohibition, and was named Distillery of the Year by the American Distilling Institute in 2016. The set includes Straight Bourbon, the flagship high-malt bourbon of 80% New York organic corn and 20% English malted barley, aged four to seven years in new charred oak and bottled at 90 proof; Blended Bourbon, an in-house blend of pot-distilled straight bourbon with corn, rye and malt whiskeys that the distillery describes as sitting between pot still Irish whiskey and traditional bourbon; and Coffee Whiskey, an 80-proof blend of Kings County bourbon and corn whiskey with cold brew from Navy Yard neighbor Parlor Coffee. All are made on Scottish copper pot stills in Brooklyn.
