Drinkhacker rated it an A- and found juniper and citrus running neck and neck with grapefruit the strongest element, plus lemon pepper, mint, thyme and piney juniper on the nose, then a mildly sweet palate of grapefruit and lemon peel with a creamy body. The reviewer called it bracing and flavorful and suggested it for long drinks, and that is the right call: a G&T with a grapefruit wedge, a Paloma-style gin drink, or a Collins. It is a well-made, fruit-leaning gin that happens to have a great story behind it, and a fun gift for any E-40 fan.
