Every Le Réviseur bottling comes from one family estate in the Petite Champagne cru, cultivated for generations, where grape growing, distillation and aging all happen on the property. The brand has a strong following in Scandinavia and Eastern Europe, and it is bottled at 40% ABV.
It pours old gold. The nose is very fresh with plum and almond, developing toward dried walnut. The palate is light, pleasant and well balanced with grape, gentle vanilla and soft oak on a clean finish. Petite Champagne gives it more finesse than most VS cognacs, so it sips well neat and makes a bright Sidecar, French 75 or cognac and tonic.
