Leadslingers Fighting Spirit Rye Whiskey
Leadslingers Fighting Spirit Rye Whiskey comes from Leadslingers Whiskey, a veteran-owned brand founded in 2014 by a group of combat veterans of Iraq and Afghanistan from the Army Rangers, Special Forces, Air Force TACP and paratrooper communities. The company is proudly unapologetic about its military roots and its support of veterans and first responders, and the Marine on the front label sets the tone.
Fighting Spirit Rye is produced at Scissortail Distillery in Moore, Oklahoma, aged in oak barrels made by a veteran-owned cooperage in Indiana, and bottled at 90 proof. Leadslingers describes it as a top-shelf rye built to be a cornerstone of your bar, with the peppery spice of rye balanced by a smooth, rounded finish. It is a natural gift for the veteran or service member in your life, and it mixes well in an Old Fashioned or a Whiskey Sour. Part of every purchase supports the military and first-responder communities the founders came from.
