Listoke Distillery 1777 Irish Gin
Listoke Distillery 1777 Irish Gin is the flagship of Listoke Distillery in the Boyne Valley, County Louth, which grew from a small operation into one of Ireland's largest gin distilleries and now runs the Listoke Gin House in the village of Tenure, where every bottle is labeled, filled and sealed by hand. It is a robust, well-rounded gin bottled at 43% ABV (86 proof).
Jasmine flower leads on the nose, with juniper and citrus running through the whole palate and cardamom and rowan berry adding a spice and warmth that lingers long after the last sip. Listoke 1777 was named Best in Ireland at The Gin Guide Awards 2018, and it is versatile enough for a premium tonic with a twist of orange peel, a White Lady, a Negroni or an Italian Gin Fizz. At this price it is one of the best-value Irish gins on the shelf.
