Meletti Fernet Liqueur
Meletti Fernet is a 750ml, 40% ABV Italian fernet from the Meletti family of Ascoli Piceno in Le Marche, producers of artisanal liqueurs since 1870. It is made from a blend of herbs, roots and spices distilled using founder Silvio Meletti's bain-marie method and family recipes passed down through generations.
The color is dark amber and the nose is herbaceous with balsamic notes. On the palate a beginning of spice evolves to balsamic mint and finishes with bitter gentian root, with a very long, persistent, clean and balanced finish. Sip it neat as a digestif, or use it in a Toronto or Hanky Panky.
