Oka Yuzu comes from the Tsutsumi Distillery in Kumamoto Prefecture — Kyushu's rice basket — a traditional producer with nearly 150 years of history, and almost everything about it breaks flavored-vodka convention. The base is Oka's rice vodka: pot distilled five times from 100% Japanese rice, then filtered through bincho tan, an artisanal Japanese charcoal measured as the purest carbon charcoal in the world, chosen over traditional birch for superior texture.
