Pacific House Bouquet Gin is hand-crafted at the Gold Bar Distillery on Treasure Island in the middle of San Francisco Bay, one of three California gins from Pacific House built around coastal-fresh botanicals. Bouquet is the floral one: light, fresh and fragrant with delicate notes of elderflower and Sonoma lavender layered over the juniper, and it is bottled at 43% ABV (86 proof).
The producer describes it as light, fresh and floral, and it drinks like a walk through a Sonoma garden in spring, with the elderflower adding a honeyed sweetness and the lavender a soft perfume that never turns soapy. It is a natural for a French 75, an elderflower Collins or a G&T with a few fresh berries, and it makes a beautiful spring Martini with a twist of lemon. A pretty, well-priced Bay Area gin.
