Pacific House Citrus Gin
Pacific House is a gin brand from the San Francisco Bay Area, built around the coastline and the ocean it borrows its name from. The name nods to the 1939 international exposition held on the Bay, whose "Pageant of the Pacific" art exhibit celebrated the flora and fauna of the Pacific Rim. Each Pacific House gin draws from a set of eleven fresh botanicals meant to capture the Pacific Ocean and its coastline, and each expression is vapor-infused during distillation to push a specific flavor forward: Deep Umami leans on sea kelp, Seaside on grains of paradise and juniper, and the Citrus edition, as the name says, is built to put citrus in front. It's bottled at 86 proof (43% ABV). The bottle is its own piece of design, created by Chad Michael Studio: eight sides inspired by an octopus, a twisted neck that makes the gin roll out like a small wave as it pours, and a wooden stopper with a logo that merges an octopus with a nautical compass.
