Pacific House Poppy Bay Gin is a small-batch flavored gin from Pacific House Gin, a San Francisco Bay Area producer named after the Pageant of the Pacific, the city's 1939 world's fair, and poured at Gold Bar Distillery on Treasure Island. Grain-distilled in San Francisco, it layers California poppy, the state flower, onto a classic juniper base with orange peel and a blend of coastal botanicals. It was released in September 2025 as a collaboration with Bay FC, the Bay Area's NWSL club, and the bottle carries the team's golden-orange and blue accents. Bottled at 86 proof (43% ABV) in a 750ml bottle. The producer describes bright aromas of orange peel, juniper and soft floral tones from the poppy on the nose, a smooth, layered palate that is citrus-forward with a creamy poppy-seed texture, gentle spice and a touch of coastal minerality, and a clean, delicately floral finish with a salt-air lift. It drinks well neat, in a crisp gin and tonic with an orange twist, or in the brand's signature Pacific Poppy cocktail; a citrus-forward Collins or a French 75 also lets the floral notes show through.
