Sarpa di Poli is a 750ml grappa from Poli Distillerie, the family distillery founded in 1898 in Schiavon in the Veneto, and the house's flagship everyday grappa. Sarpa means pomace in Venetian dialect, and it is distilled in Poli's traditional copper steam stills from fresh Merlot and Cabernet pomace.
Crystal clear and dry, it shows fresh grape, white flowers and a gentle herbal, citrus lift with a clean, warming finish. Serve it chilled in a tulip glass after dinner, add a splash to espresso for a caffè corretto, or use it in a grappa sour.
