Prairie Navy Strength Gin
Prairie Navy Strength Gin is the high-proof expression from Prairie Organic Spirits of Minnesota, the certified-organic brand from Phillips Distilling Company made from organic corn grown by a cooperative of family farms. It is bottled at the traditional navy strength of 57% ABV (114 proof), the minimum at which spilled gin would still let a ship's gunpowder ignite, and built on a juniper-forward blend of coriander and botanicals with a hint of citrus.
The extra proof gives it a bold, assertive juniper character and the backbone to stand up in a Negroni, a Martini or a Gimlet without fading, and it keeps a G&T tasting like gin to the last sip. At this price it is one of the most affordable navy-strength gins on the market, which makes it a smart choice for stocking a cocktail bar or for anyone curious about high-proof gin without paying premium prices.
