Quattro Theory Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Quattro Theory is winemaker Landon Donley's project within the Trinchero family's Napa Valley holdings, built on his theory that four elements make a great wine: intentional vision, quality vineyards, precision winemaking, and the experience of sharing it with food and friends. Donley blends classic and contemporary techniques, sourcing estate-grown Napa Valley fruit primarily from valley-floor vineyards with mountain-vineyard lots folded in for depth and structure. Recent releases have blended roughly 84% Cabernet Sauvignon with Merlot, Malbec, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc, bottled at 14.5% ABV in 750ml. The wine shows blackberry and black currant with a full-bodied, luscious core of fruit, dark chocolate, spearmint and a light touch of oak char. Wine Spectator rated the 2021 vintage 91 points, noting sweet toast and a drinking window through 2032, and the house style is deliberately approachable: seriously made, easily enjoyed. Pair it with a grilled ribeye, roast lamb or a square of dark chocolate. Vintages may vary; we ship the current release.
