Rancho La Gloria Reposado is a 100% blue Weber agave tequila produced at NOM 1173, Corporativo Destilería Santa Lucía in Jalisco, a contract distillery that makes a number of value-priced brands for the US market. The tequila is double distilled, then rested for four months in a mix of French and American oak barrels before bottling at 40% ABV, which puts it at the young end of the reposado category where the agave still leads and the wood plays a supporting role. The brand's own description is sweet vanilla, spice and subtle oak with a warm finish, and Tequila Matchmaker's reviewer logged a light nose of agave, vanilla and oak, a palate of light agave with pepper, vanilla, caramel and oak, and a short, buttery vanilla finish.
