The single pot still whiskey, triple distilled from malted and unmalted barley, is aged at least eighteen years in a combination of ex-bourbon barrels and casks seasoned with Oloroso sherry, cream sherry and ruby Port, then bottled at 46% ABV without chill filtration.
The result adds a new dimension to the Redbreast house style: vibrant berry fruit and caramelized stone fruit from the Port and cream sherry, rich hazelnut chocolate, and the classic dried fruit, toffee and pot still spice underneath. The finish is long, sweet and layered. Drink it neat.
