Product Type: Liqueur
Size: 750mL
Proof: 38% Alc/Vol
Region: France
Description: Royal Combier, created in 1920, is a blend of Combier Liqueur d'Orange, V.S.O.P cognac and Elicser Combier, one of the most famous French elicsers. The liqueur was created as a result of Jean-Baptiste Combier and Dr François-Vincent Raspail meeting while they were both held captive for acts of rebellion against Napoleon III's Empire. They spent countless hours exchanging ideas and sharing recipes for liqueurs and elicsers. After being released, Jean-Baptiste Combier created this exotic and complex liqueur, which is best enjoyed neat or in cocktails as a substitute for orange liqueur for added spice.
