Shibui 23 Year Rare Cask Reserve Single Grain Whisky is the oldest expression from Shibui, the Okinawan whisky house whose name means understated, effortless elegance. Distilled, matured and bottled entirely in Okinawa, this single grain whisky spent twenty-three years in American oak bourbon casks in the subtropical climate of Japan's southernmost prefecture, where heat and humidity drive maturation far faster than in Scotland. It is bottled at 43% ABV (86 proof).

The nose is honeyed sweetness, oak and exotic spice with vanilla, toffee and delicate florals. The palate is a sublime fusion of sweet vanilla and caramel enriched by decades of oak, unfolding in layers of complexity, and the finish is long and luxurious with gentle spice and rich oak. It is a whisky for slow neat sipping.

Presented in a gift box, this 750ml bottle is one of the oldest age statements in Japanese whisky and a landmark for collectors. Buy Shibui 23 Year Rare Cask Reserve Single Grain Whisky online with fast shipping right to your door.
