Sipsmith Strawberry Smash Gin is a limited edition from London's Sipsmith Distillery and the second release in its Sipping Society series, made with Wimbledon-season strawberries from the 2020 harvest at Hugh Lowe Farms in Kent and a touch of English mint. It is built on Sipsmith's London Dry and bottled at 40% ABV (80 proof).
The result is fresh, ripe strawberry and cool mint over a proper juniper backbone, a gin that tastes of an English summer without turning syrupy. Sipsmith suggests a gin and tonic, a Collins or a Clover Club with a fresh strawberry garnish, and it makes a superb strawberry spritz with prosecco and soda.
