These cocktail cherries follow an authentic 1890s recipe: fresh Wild Amarena cherries from Italy are candied in concentrated sugar syrup to maximum brix, then steeped in a second, spiced syrup built around Kirsch (a true cherry brandy distillate) until the fruit fully absorbs both the spirit and the spices through natural osmosis. A touch of genuine Gum Arabic gives the syrup a velvety texture that actually improves a cocktail's mouthfeel, rather than just adding sugar. Bottled at 12% ABV. Expect a crisp aroma of sour cherry, vanilla, and warm baking spice, with a floral, honey-like sweetness balanced by real tartness and a whisper of citrus, the cherries themselves dense and firmly chewy rather than mushy.
