Tequila Pasión Blanco comes out of Compañía Tequilera de Arandas, NOM 1460, in the southern Highlands of Jalisco, the same Los Altos distillery that produces The Bad Stuff and Hacienda de Tepa. It is a 100% blue Weber agave tequila made in the modern Highlands manner: the piñas are cooked in a high-pressure autoclave, crushed on a roller mill, fermented without fibers in stainless steel tanks with natural spring water, and double distilled in copper pot stills before being bottled unaged at 40% ABV (80 proof). The brand runs a simple three-bottle lineup of blanco, reposado and añejo, and this is the entry point, the expression that shows what the distillate is before any barrel gets involved.
