The Spirit Guild Vapid Vodka comes from The Spirit Guild, a craft distillery in the Arts District of downtown Los Angeles founded by Miller Duvall and Morgan McLachlan. The distillery's signature is fruit: instead of grain, Vapid Vodka is distilled from California clementines grown on the founders' family farms in the Central Valley. The name is a joke, because this vodka is anything but empty. Bottled at 40% ABV (80 proof) in a 750ml bottle.
Fermenting and distilling clementines gives Vapid a soft, silky texture and a subtle character all its own: a whisper of citrus, a gentle sweetness and a clean, smooth finish that never tastes like a flavored vodka.
