Tres Mujeres Blanco 750ml
Tres Mujeres is the house tequila of the Partida family, who grew blue agave for the big distilleries of the Tequila Valley for more than 65 years before Jesús Sergio Partida built his own distillery, Tequila Tres Mujeres S.A. de C.V., NOM 1466, on the Guadalajara-Nogales highway between El Arenal and Amatitán, a few kilometers from the town of Tequila itself. The name honors the three women in his family, and the mission was simple: a 100% blue agave tequila made the natural way, without additives, at a price regular drinkers could afford. The distillery has grown since its original 2006 facility, with a new production plant opened in 2010 and an underground aging cava, but the process has stayed traditional. Agave piñas are cooked in stone and brick ovens, crushed on a roller mill, fermented in stainless steel tanks from 100% agave, and double distilled in stainless steel pot stills, with bottling and labeling done by hand. The Blanco is that spirit unaged, bottled at 40% ABV in a 750ml bottle with no additives listed, the purest expression of the family's valley-grown agave before any barrel gets involved. A versatile blanco for margaritas, palomas or a clean neat pour.
