It is bottled at 43% ABV (86 proof), a touch stronger than the standard D.E.W.
The rum casks add tropical fruit, banana, brown sugar and a hint of molasses to the whiskey's honeyed, spicy core, with vanilla and oak on a smooth, slightly sweeter palate and a warm finish.
