Twisted Path Gin comes from Twisted Path Distillery in Milwaukee's Bay View neighborhood, a certified-organic craft distillery whose team spent about 18 months building a flavor library of individually distilled botanicals and testing dozens of recipes before settling on this one. Organic botanicals are steeped in high-proof spirit and redistilled the traditional way, with juniper firmly in the lead, and it is bottled at 40% ABV (80 proof).
The distillery describes a gin that smells like a London Dry but drinks differently: flavorful yet soft and round rather than sharp and prickly, with piney juniper, crisp citrus zest and coriander in balance and a clean, invigorating finish. It bridges traditional roots and new American style, which makes it easy in a G&T, a Tom Collins or a Martini, and a great organic house gin.
