Hood River Distillers, an Oregon distillery founded in 1934 along the Columbia River Gorge, built this schnapps liqueur as a tribute to him and to the winter sports crowd that reveres him, currently overseen by Master Distiller Caitlin Bartlemay. It pours clear as melted snow and opens with a genuinely bracing hit of peppermint before mellowing into warm cinnamon spice, all at a surprisingly smooth 90 proof (45% ABV) that belies its strength.
