Whiskey Del Bac Normandie American Single Malt Whiskey
Whiskey Del Bac Normandie American Single Malt Whiskey is a limited release from Hamilton Distillers in Tucson, Arizona, named for the apple-brandy country of northern France. The distillery finishes its desert-aged single malt in casks that previously held Calvados, layering orchard fruit over the whiskey's malt and mesquite character, and bottles it at 97 proof (48.5% ABV).
The nose shows toffee and caramel with a light thread of mesquite smoke and baked apple. On the palate the smoke stays subtle while toffee, apple and gentle spice carry the mid-palate into a long, velvety finish. It is a whiskey for slow sipping neat, and a good choice for Scotch drinkers who enjoy cask-finished malts.
As a limited Del Bac release, this 750ml bottle is a small-run pour for American single malt collectors. Buy Whiskey Del Bac Normandie American Single Malt Whiskey online with fast shipping right to your door.
