Xtabentún Classic Mayan Liqueur is a 750ml traditional honey and anise liqueur from the Yucatán, Mexico, made by Casa D'Aristi of Mérida, the region's historic liqueur house since 1935. Its roots go back to the Maya ceremonial drink balché, and it is made from honey produced by bees that feed on the xtabentún flower, blended with anise and rum.
Smooth and sweet with rich honey, soft anise and a warming finish, it is the classic Yucatecan digestif. Sip it neat or over ice, add it to coffee for a café maya, or use it in place of sambuca or honey liqueur in cocktails.
