The whisky was distilled long before the rebuild, drawn from the old distillery's remaining stock, which makes it a piece of Lowland whisky history in a bottle.
Honoring Bladnoch's traditional style, the 25 Year marries three woods, ex-bourbon, ex-sherry and refill whisky casks, before a final finish in brand-new American oak. Bottled at 86 proof, it shows aged oak, sweet vanilla, honey and ginger with the soft, grassy elegance that defines old Lowland malt, finishing rich, rounded and gently spiced.
