Boudier's cassis is the benchmark of the category, made by slowly macerating whole Burgundy blackcurrants in alcohol and sweetening with sugar for a liqueur of deep purple color and intense fruit.
Expect rich, jammy blackcurrant with a bright, slightly tart finish. It is the essential ingredient for a Kir with white Burgundy or a Kir Royale with champagne, and it adds real fruit depth to El Diablos, Bramble variations and sours.
