Master distiller Rodolfo González runs Destiladora González Lux, NOM 1603, in the Los Altos highlands with his son Paul and daughter Graciela, and El Mayor is the family's flagship, distributed by Luxco — which is why it's priced like a house brand and made like an estate one. The Blanco is 100% estate-grown highland blue Weber agave, cooked, roller-milled, fermented with the family's own yeast strain, double-distilled in stainless pots with copper coils, cut with deep-well water, and bottled unaged at 40% ABV.
