Spade & Sparrows is the wine label launched in 2019 by Kaitlyn Bristowe, the former Bachelorette, Dancing with the Stars champion and podcaster, with the tagline Great Wine Without the Rules. The brand is female founded and built on the idea that good wine should be approachable, unfussy and fun, and it has grown into one of the most successful celebrity wine launches in North America. The California Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from warm-climate vineyards across the state's Central Coast and interior valleys and made in a soft, fruit-forward style with modest oak influence, bottled at about 13.5% ABV. Expect a medium-bodied red with ripe blackberry, black cherry and plum, a touch of vanilla and mocha from oak, gentle tannins and a smooth, lightly spiced finish that does not demand food or cellaring. It is a reliable pour for a backyard barbecue, pizza night, burgers or simply a glass on the couch during a Bachelor episode. Vintages may vary; we ship the current release. 750ml bottle.
