Jameson Caskmates IPA Edition Irish Whiskey
Jameson Caskmates IPA Edition Irish Whiskey is the second chapter in Jameson's barrel swap with Cork's Franciscan Well brewery. After the original Stout Edition, Jameson sent its bourbon barrels to the brewery to be seasoned with a hop-forward Irish IPA, then brought them home to finish triple-distilled Jameson in them. It is bottled at 80 proof.
The IPA cask adds a bright, hoppy edge to the familiar Jameson profile: grapefruit and floral hop notes on the nose, a light, crisp palate with citrus and a hint of grassy bitterness over the whiskey's vanilla and sweet grain, and a clean, refreshing finish. It is made for the beer crowd: pour it as a shot with a pint, or build a whiskey highball with tonic or grapefruit soda.
This 750ml bottle is an easy pick for IPA drinkers and a fun change from standard Jameson. Buy Jameson Caskmates IPA Edition Irish Whiskey online with fast shipping right to your door.
