They swapped barrels: the brewery aged stout in Jameson casks, and Jameson finished its triple-distilled whiskey in the stout-seasoned barrels that came back. It is bottled at 80 proof.
The stout cask brings coffee, cocoa and butterscotch to Jameson's smooth, gently sweet base, with a touch of hops and a creamy texture. The finish is long with milk chocolate and toasted malt.
