It's a blend of rums put through a specific distillation process before resting in oak, overseen by Master Blender Susan Masis, and it reads noticeably fruitier and nuttier than the younger 7 Year, with a touch more sweetness. Expect an amber-copper color and a nose of oak, vanilla, caramel, toffee, and citrus, often layered with almond, ripe banana, and orange zest.
