"Mosto verde" (green must) is the most demanding style of pisco: the grape must is distilled before fermentation is complete, while sugar remains, which takes far more grapes per bottle and yields a rounder, richer and more aromatic spirit. This one is made entirely from the aromatic Italia grape, distilled in copper pot stills to proof with nothing added. Bottled at 41.8% ABV in a 700ml bottle.
The taste is lush and perfumed, with muscat-like grape, jasmine, citrus and honey, a silky, weighty texture and a long, elegant finish.
