Barsol Pisco Puro Italia is a single-varietal pisco from Barsol, made at the Bodega San Isidro in Peru's Ica valley from 100% Italia grapes, the aromatic muscat-family variety that gives Peruvian pisco its most floral expressions. The grapes are fermented and distilled once in copper pot stills to proof, with nothing added and no wood aging, as Peruvian pisco law requires. Bottled at 41.3% ABV in a 700ml bottle.
The taste is intensely aromatic: white flowers, muscat grape, citrus peel and a hint of tropical fruit, with a smooth, clean texture and a lingering floral finish.
