Barsol Pisco Torontel Selecto is a single-varietal pisco from Barsol, made at the Bodega San Isidro in Peru's Ica valley from selected Torontel grapes, an aromatic variety related to muscat that is prized for its delicate floral character. The grapes are fermented and distilled once in copper pot stills to proof, with nothing added and no wood aging, in keeping with Peruvian pisco law. Bottled at 41.3% ABV in a 700ml bottle.
The taste is a unique floral bouquet of orange blossom, jasmine and rose with soft citrus and a smooth, velvety texture, finishing refined and long. It is a pisco for sipping chilled and for elegant cocktails: a Pisco Sour with a floral lift, a pisco martini or a simple pisco and tonic with a twist.
