Fassbind Les Vieilles Barriques Raspberry is a 750ml barrel-aged Swiss raspberry brandy from Fassbind, Switzerland's oldest distillery, founded in 1846 in Oberarth at the foot of the Rigi mountain. Raspberries from the Rigi region are macerated and distilled, rested for at least two years in stainless steel and then aged 14 to 18 months in oak.
Finished with Fassbind's house-made Bonificateur, it is reminiscent of homemade raspberry jam, with warm berry fruit, gentle sweetness and soft oak on the finish. Sip it neat at room temperature after dinner, or use it to add cooked-berry depth to cocktails.
