Trascendente Mezcal Tamarindo
Trascendente Tamarindo is a tamarind-flavored mezcal built on the brand's Espadín, launched in the United States in October 2025 through Spiribam America. Mezcal Trascendente was founded in 2020 by the Bianciardi-Salcido family and is produced in the Tlacolula de Matamoros valley of Oaxaca under a fifth-generation maestro mezcalero. The base Espadín is made from mature agaves grown by native communities, cooked with sweet, sustainably sourced wood while limiting smoke exposure, fermented slowly and wild with natural yeasts, and double distilled in copper pot stills. Natural tamarind flavor and aroma are then combined with the mezcal, and it is bottled at 40% ABV (80 proof). The producer describes tropical notes layered over the sweetness of cooked maguey, dried fruit balanced by soft citrus, and a silky, rich texture, recommending it chilled or in breezy citrus-led drinks such as a Paloma or Margarita. The brand planned availability in more than fifteen US markets by the end of 2025 and supports hummingbird rescue and pollinator gardens in Mexico through its Hummingbird Initiative.
