Mother Earth Brew Co. is a genuine San Diego County success story: it started as a homebrew hobby in a garage around 2008 and became a family business in Vista by 2010, founded by Daniel Love and Kamron Khannakhjavani with one goal — handcrafted beers that make you want the next sip. The signature move was making cream ale cool again: Cali Creamin', the flagship vanilla cream ale brewed with real Madagascar vanilla bean for a "cream soda" kick that finishes dry rather than sweet, remains one of Southern California's most beloved craft beers. Growth came fast — by 2016 the company had built a 40,000-square-foot production facility in Nampa, Idaho that rapidly became the largest brewery in the state, and in 2024 Mother Earth returned to its original Vista home in a unique shared taproom with craft veterans The Lost Abbey. Now co-headquartered in both states, the beer reaches 20 US states plus the UK, Australia, and Mexico.
